Big 4 --
1986
Big 4 is a former logging camp in the Cascade foothills that became a resort which
(I believe) burned, and is now a state park.
I made this picture of an ice cave in July.
Typically, the winter snow pack is deep enough that it takes until July or August for it to melt.
It's not a good idea to enter these caves, for you never know when the top may fall in. You can see in this photo where the roof caved in just a few feet into the entrance of the cave.
