Larry Dahl --
1986
photographer
Larry and I used to go out quite often together,
prowling the back roads in the Cascades looking for interesting places to 'hike in' a ways.
Though he knew I used a wide lens, he had no idea he was in my view.
He was quite surprised when I gave him a print.
The only portrait I've done that the subject wasn't aware he was the subject.
Larry succumbed to throat cancer a few years ago.
