Olympia Block -- May 1985

This ladder, though distant in the background, was very important to my composition: It seemed to connect the steel structure to the ground. I was quite annoyed, therefore, when I saw this worker come over about halfway through the exposure and pick it up. Instead of walking away with it, as I expected him to do, he simply moved it over a couple of feet, thereby reinforcing the original concept. Thank you sir, whoever you are!
