Columbia River Gorge -- 1984

The place where the Columbia River slices through the Cascade Mountains on its way to the Pacific Ocean we call the Gorge, and it is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. As you start to enter the Eastern part of the state, the climate changes, and the grass becomes yellow/brown. Someone long ago has built miles and miles of fences by stacking stones found in the area.
